物流子会社の目指す方向性は各社様々です。
物流で親会社の経営に貢献することを第一義的に捉え内販へ軸足を置く企業もあれば、

製造業や通販企業などの荷主企業に対し物流の改善提案を行い、物流拠点の見直しや物流業務委託先の再選定（物流コンペ）を進めてきた。物流拠点の見直しでは、コストやリードタイムだけでなく拠点BCP等のリスクも加味した提案を行っている。
また、物流業務委託先選定ではRFPの作成支援・コンペ事務局などを実行し、定量・定性両面での物流会社評価を行う。現在は物流現場の作業生産性向上や保管効率向上、５Sの導入による倉庫管理の改善に注力しており、各社の物流現場に合わせた改善手法の提供を行っている。
